Much of who I am can be attributed to my parents and my experiences.
I was raised in Point Lookout, New York where I had the pleasure of growing up in a beach community enjoying the Atlantic Ocean.
After finishing my schooling and receiving my degrees in Elementary and Special Education, I went to work for American Airlines in New York and eventually accepted a position as manager of Flight Attendants in Los Angeles, California.
Eventually I met my husband and we settled in San Diego where we had our children and enjoyed fourteen wonderful years. In 1995, we moved to Bayville, New York where my husband's family resides. My children were entering middle school and I decided it was time to pursue my true passion and become an educator. For the past fifteen years I have taught at Westbury Friends School and I enjoy every day as it were my first.
My hobbies are cooking, reading, relaxing on the beach and following my children's college lacrosse games.
