Pre-K Teaching Assistant

I received my Associate Degree from Nassau Community College in 1986.  After working in the world of business, I took time off to get married and raise a family.  My husband, Wayne, and I have been married for 21 years.  We have two great daughters, CarolAnn, and Kaitlyn and one faithful dog, Roxy.  I returned to work when my youngest started school full-time.  I worked part-time at a local nursery school as a teacher assistant from 1997 to 2004.  In 2004, I joined the Westbury Friends faculty as an assistant in Mrs. .Zaccaria’s Pre-K class.  I also work with Mrs. Caccamo in the Early Bird program.

I am currently completing the necessary steps to become a Certified Teaching Assistant in New YorkState.  I am also active in Girl Scouts of Nassau County as a leader for 15 years, and a service team member for my association.  I also am active in my daughter’s high school PTA, with her kick line team, and at her dance studio.  When I have spare time I love to read, visit my family, go for a ride with my husband on his motorcycle and sit on my deck enjoying the time outside.
